A proud mother of four, Sorvino is making huge strides for the #MeToo and “Time’s Up” movements in the hopes of making the future a brighter one for her children and future generations. In addition, she is currently working with California lawmakers on some of the strongest anti-sexual harassment legislation in the nation. It will outline the statute of limitations and training that must take place within companies to prevent such issues.
A lifelong champion of victims of social injustice, Sorvino—known as a "silence breaker"—was inspired by her mother’s participation in the march on Washington with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Bright, articulate and knowledgeable about the complex topics she speaks on, she continues to be a powerful voice for important global causes.
