The violent relationship between Rihanna and Chris Brown being played out in such a public forum has had one positive result: it's raising awareness on the issue of violence against women, providing us with a “teachable moment.”

In light of the growing awareness about this problem, we have begun a dialogue on our blog, and created a list of speakers who are activists against domestic violence who can share their harrowing personal experiences with relational aggression. The courage, honesty and candor of these speakers will, without a doubt, inspire audiences nationwide to take action and help stop domestic violence.
