The Haunted Graveyard hosted Walking Dead star and speaker Sonequa Martin-Green to celebrate the spooky season! New England’s largest Halloween attraction has been scaring up fun since 1999 and, for just as long, has raised money for important causes. In honor of the daughter of founder Ernie Romegialli, who was diagnosed at the age of six with diabetes, the organization makes large donations to the American Diabetes Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

At the event, Brown (the founder of Women in the World) spoke about women’s issues in the presidential election—a topic at the forefront of debate leading up to Election Day. “Some people say, ‘Oh it’s been great for Hillary that she ended up with Trump.’ I don’t think it’s been great for Hillary to have Donald Trump. I think she finds it very painful to have to be running in this atmosphere.”

'A Chance in the World' by APB speaker Steve Pemberton to be a Major Motion Picture

APB speaker Steve Pemberton has uplifted many with his story of overcoming adversity against all odds and inspiring hope, determination and forgiveness. Following the success of his best-selling memoir, A Chance in the World, which documents his childhood filled with adversity in a foster care system and the priceless acts of kindness he received along the way, Pemberton recently announced the book's film adaptation. The movie, produced by Tom Bastounes of Mighty Small Pictures and directed and adapted by Mark Vadik, stars Terrell Ransom Jr. in the role of 14-year-old Pemberton. As production starts this weekend in Chicago, Pemberton posted that they are looking to submit to the Sundance Film Festival in January.
