Naomi Klein in Print and on Film

A documentary based on journalist Naomi Klein’s best-selling book Shock Doctrine will make its North American premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, debuting on January 28. The film, adapted by directors Michael Winterbottom and Mat Whitecross will be followed at Sundance by a conversation with Klein, the filmmakers, and festival founder Robert Redford.

Klein, who tours exclusively under the auspices of APB, defined herself as a one of the most outspoken opponents of corporate globalization with her scathing 2000 book No Logo. A 10th Anniversary edition of No Logo, with a new introduction by Klein, will be published on November 30.
