Shoshana Johnson's Book Attracts National Media

Shoshana Johnson made history on March 23, 2003 as the first African American woman to be taken as a prisoner of war when the 507th Maintenance Company was ambushed during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Detailing the capture and eventual rescue in her acclaimed new book, I'm Still Standing, Johnson will be appearing February 2nd on the morning edition of The Today Show, as well as at 6:30pm ET on NBC Nightly News, and at 9pm ET on the February 3rd edition of Larry King Live.

Called "a compelling, inspirational read" by Larry King, I'm Still Standing tells Johnson's story with the same vivid honesty present in her keynote presentations.
