Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli & Isles Now a TV Series on TNT

Stanford grad, physician, and best-selling novelist Tess Gerritsen has found success with Rizzoli & Isles, a television series based on her Rizzoli and Isles detective novels. The series premiered on July 12 on TNT to rave reviews, and stars Angie Harmon (Law and Order) as homicide detective Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander (He's Just Not That Into You) as medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles. Lorraine Bracco (The Sopranos) also stars.
