Bionic Builders

Casey Pieretti, a stuntman, actor, and athlete, has been an amputee for 25 years. Since the beginning of his amputee era, he has pursued the best prosthetics available, and has created many of his own cutting-edge prosthetic devices to enable his successful and athletic lifestyle. Bill Spracher is the president and owner of Spracher Engineering, Inc. Together, they are co-hosts of Bionic Builders, a one-hour special that aired on Discovery in March 2011, and co-owners of Amp'dGear Performance Amputee Sporting Gear. Part motivation (Pieretti), part pure engineering genius (Spracher), they show what it's like to build and test one-of-a-kind, extreme limbs that make their amputee clients "better than new, better than you."

In their spirited, entertaining program, they offer audiences a sneak peek at their design process, illustrating their presentation with amazing product samples and development photos. Their ultimate goal is to test, build, and design until "disability" is a word of the past.
