Chad Hymas

Chad Hymas’ life changed instantaneously at the age of 27, when an accident left him a quadriplegic. Although he found himself paralyzed, his dreams were not paralyzed that day. Called “one of the 10 most inspirational people in the world” by The Wall Street Journal, Hymas has risen above his tragedy to overcome it -- focusing on dreams, making them a reality, and loving life for all that it has to offer.

Hymas continues to achieve success, founding his own communications company and Internet marketing company as well as setting racing in wheelchair marathons. As a member of the National Speakers Association, he travels as many as 150,000 miles a year speaking to hundreds of professional and civic organizations such as Wells Fargo, Blue Cross Blue Shield, AT&T, Rainbird, IHC, American Express, Prudential Life, Vast FX, Zion Securities, and others.

A world-class wheelchair athlete who enjoys basketball, wheelchair rugby, hang-gliding, and snow skiing. In July 2003 Hymas set a world record by wheeling a personal marathon of over 500 miles from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas. He has also found success as the author of the regionally best-selling book Soaring to New Heights.
