Donna Palomba

Donna Palomba is founder of Jane Doe No More, (JDNM), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to create awareness, break stigmas and develop training tools associated with sexual assault crimes. The JDNM board is comprised of experts in the legal, medical, law enforcement, victims’ services and nonprofit professions.

Jane Doe No More was borne out of the experience of Palomba, who was raped in her home by a masked intruder in 1993. In April 2007, she came forward in public for the first time to tell her story and launch the Jane Doe No More initiative on Dateline NBC. A talented and sought-after public speaker, Palomba’s story of hope and healing touches everyone who hears it.

Palomba is a managing member and co-founder of The Worx Group LLC, a marketing communications firm located in Connecticut and she is a member of the Connecticut Community Foundation, the Greater New Haven Chamber, the Waterbury Regional Chamber and the Business Women’s Forum.

In 2005, the Business Women's Forum - the longest running annual scholarship conference in New England - named Palomba "Woman of the Year," a prestigious honor given to exemplary women that have had a significant impact in the business community, and have demonstrated superior leadership and community responsibility.

Balancing her commitment to business, Palomba gives generously of her time to issues that affect the community at large. She serves on the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Connecticut and has previously served on other Connecticut boards in the greater Waterbury area including The United Way, The Non-Profit Assistance Initiative and Safe Haven.

In 2006, The New Haven Business Times honored Paloma by celebrating her as one of the 20 women in the Greater New Haven area who are successful in all facets of their lives.
