The Generations People

The Generations People is made up of three speakers and one entertainer: Lynne Lancaster, David Stillman, Seth Mattison, and Joe Marlotti.

Baby Boomer Lynne Lancaster and Generation Xer David Stillman are two of today's foremost cultural translators. Experts on the generations, they founded BridgeWorks, a generational diversity consulting and training company, over a decade ago. Their research on inter-generational communication inspired them to co-author the best-selling business book When Generations Collide: Who They Are. Why They Clash. How to Solve the Generational Puzzle at Work, a consistent favorite among CEOs, and their latest, 2010's The M-Factor: How the Millennial Generation is Rocking the Workplace. Their keynote speeches and workshops have received rave reviews from Fortune 500 companies ranging from the IRS to MTV. Lancaster and Stillman advise leaders, managers, and employees on how to conduct business more successfully by bridging generation gaps at work and in the marketplace. They have been featured as guest commentators on CNN, CNBC, NPR, and The Today Show, and have been featured in a wide range of national publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, TIME magazine, Fast Company, and USA Today.

Millennial Seth Mattison joined the BridgeWorks team and is quickly becoming a strong voice of his generation. His primary interest is in workforce trends and how the Millennials can infuse new ideas and energy into organizations everywhere. Mattison works with executives across the country to help them drive innovation and sustainability by maximizing their young talent and maintaining connections with their experienced workforce. He also works with members of his own generation directly to help them understand how to best work with Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, and Generation Xers. His success is driven by his unique ability to communicate and connect with all four generations to help them better understand not only their differences but their commonalities, thus creating engaging environments for employees, customers, and members.

TimesFour entertainer Joe Marlotti has been entertaining audiences for nearly 20 years as a stand-up comedian and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. He counts among his clients such prestigious companies as Cingular, US Bank, BMW, Anheuser-Busch, and the Chrysler Corporation. Marlotti's customized approach to comedy and his vast array of impersonations have made him a favorite at conventions, sales meetings, awards ceremonies, client events, and fundraisers, and his ability to embody diverse characters makes him a perfect choice for his current "role": TimesFour requires him to move convincingly between four characters ranging in age from mid-teens to mid-60s! In addition to comedy, Marlotti is a premier on-camera talent, having been featured in numerous TV and radio spots, as well as in training films.
