The God Squad

Hartman, he also hosts "The God Squad," an interfaith program on the Faith & Values/VISN cable television network. He has published several articles and books, including "Where Does God Live? Answers for Parents and Children" (co-authored with Msgr. Hartman) which won the 1991 Christopher Award. He holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, and has earned a doctorate in Philosophy with a dissertation in Medical Ethics from Northwestern University. Rabbi Gellman has served as the chairman of the Medical Ethics Committee of the UJA/Federation. He is involved with various organizations, serving as President of the New York Board of Rabbis and editor of their journal, and is an active member of the World Union for Progressive Judaism.

Monsignor Hartman is the Director of Radio and Television for the Diocese of Rockville Center. Besides "Good Morning America," he has appeared on several radio and television programs including, "Imus in the Morning," his national television show "The God Squad," co-hosted by Rabbi Gellman, his own Telicare productions, as well as hundreds of short features called "A Moment with Father Tom." He also has a national radio show, "Journeys Through Rock," which reaches hundreds of stations on the ABC Radio Network.

Father Hartman has been recognized for his professional and pastoral work by winning three Emmy awards, a Christopher award, a Folio award and numerous "Man of the Year" citations, and honorary doctorates.
