Jewtopia
Bryan Fogel is the creator and star of "Jewtopia" and its touring companion show, "Jewtopia Live," and the author of the best-selling Jewtopia: The Chosen Book for the Chosen People.
"Jewtopia" premiered in Los Angeles at the Coast Playhouse on May 8th, 2003. After 300 straight sold-out performances in Los Angeles, Fogel partnered with veteran Broadway producer Bill Franzblau to bring "Jewtopia" to New York. Opening in New York at the Westside Theatre on September 2004, just six weeks after its final Los Angeles performance, the show made the transfer with a smashing success. "Jewtopia" opened to sold-out audiences and recouped its $625,000 capitalization in just 20 weeks – a record for any Off-Broadway show. "Jewtopia" played a staggering 1100 performances in New York City before ending its run in June 2007 and capturing the title of the longest running comedy in Off-Broadway history.
In 2007, Fogel co-authored a book based on the concepts of the show. Warner Books prevailed in a highly contested nine-publisher auction and the result was Jewtopia: The Chosen Book for the Chosen People, which led to Fogel appearing on ABC's The View in December 2007. The book has thus far gone on to sell over 85,000 copies to date.
The Jewtopia brand has continued to grow with Fogel's "Jewtopia Live" show, which has toured major performing arts centers all over the US and Canada since 2008. The show has thus far been performed in over 40 cities.
A new production in "Jewtopia," produced by Fogel, has been running in Los Angeles since June 2010. The production has met with both critical and commercial success.
Beginning production in March 2011, Fogel is directing a film adaptation of "Jewtopia" called O'Connell and Lipschitz Lose Their Religion. It will be his feature directorial debut.
In addition, Fogel has two television shows of his creation in development, as well as another feature script and play in the works.

Jewtopia Live!
Bryan Fogel presents "Jewtopia Live," his hilarious, sometimes irreverent, and always highly entertaining show. Be prepared for an evening filled with non-stop laughter and outrageous fun as the creator takes center stage! For this very special performance Fogel (and sometimes his co-star, Jeremy Rishe) combines scenes from "Jewtopia," stand-up comedy, excerpts from the book, and a dazzling multimedia presentation to craft an outrageously funny, one-of-a-kind event.
Subject matter may include:
- How to change tables and send your food back when at a restaurant.

- Learning what not to touch in a hotel room so that you don’t die of disease (Rule #4 – Lysol the toilet and alarm clock and never sit on the furniture naked!)
