Biography

John O'Hurley is best known as J. Peterman on Seinfeld, the #1 syndicated television show in the world, for which he won a Screen Actor’s Guild Award. This year is 30th Anniversary of Seinfeld, also 20th Anniversary of the NBC Dog Show (32 million viewers) which he hosts.

John just wrapped another six months as Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of Chicago. He most recently starred in the comedy feature Swing Away opposite Shannon Elizabeth. John was the winner of the first season of ABC hit Dancing with the Stars, and continued cutting a rug on ABC’s Dance-Off! and was the host of Family Feud for 6 years.

In recent television, John has recurred on the Lifetime series DEVIOUS MAIDS, opposite Susan Lucci. He is one of the most recognizable voices in America, starring in Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants as King Neptune, NBC’s Father of the Pride and so many others.

O’Hurley’s first CD, Peace of Our Minds, a collaboration of his piano compositions with world-renowned cellist Marston Smith, debuted #13 on Billboard. His stage credits include starring roles in the national tours of Chicago, Spamalot, Pirates of Penzance, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Brigadoon. He is a New York Times- bestselling author with three titles, including The Perfect Dog.
