Warren Ballentine

Warren Ballentine has galvanized millions of people to not just complain, but to take action to solve problems. Ballentine’s series, "The Warren Ballentine Show," is syndicated in 20 markets and is one of the highest-rated urban talk shows in the nation. The show has been making headlines and pushing the envelope since Ballentine hit the airwaves.

He engages his listeners while discussing, analyzing, and dissecting ideas and issues targeted not just at the African American audience, but at the nation as a whole. Referred to as “The People’s Attorney,” Ballentine is not only an attorney, but a radio personality and motivational speaker who brings a diverse skill set to talk radio. He shoots straight from the hip and inspires his listeners, known as “The Truthfighters,” to create solutions and not focus on just the problems.

Ballentine has championed and led the call for action for the JENA 6 and called for the National Economic Blackout. During three hours of “thought radio,” he engages, provokes, and entertains listeners. Ballentine conducts an open and frank discussion each weekday around political and legal issues, education, religion, relationships, and any other relevant topic. He is also a recurring guest and correspondent for CNN and FOX Business News.

Ballentine has been lauded by the New York Times as one of the next big things in Black talk radio. He was instrumental in driving political education nationwide and led the ONE voter’s registration campaign. Covering both the national Democratic and Republican conventions, as well as the National Black Caucus, Ballentine’s show is a highly sought-after platform for political figures and key influencers including Senator Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, and Al Sharpton.

Born and raised on Chicago's South Side, Ballentine has always had an affinity for law. He allowed his love for the subject to take him through law school at Ohio Northern’s School of Law and propel him into a career that merges the legal world with the broadcast world. Going above and beyond the call of duty, Ballentine is adamant about using his voice to make a difference in his community and driving people to action.

Ballentine worked as a prosecutor and as a guardian ad litem before going into private practice. He has tried a multitude of cases including murder, discrimination, sexual assault, police brutality, drunk driving, drugs, gang violence, and all domestic relations.

Ballentine is currently an accredited motivational speaker, attorney, radio personality, and activist who uses his popularity to try to make a difference every single day. He has been featured in Jet and Ebony magazines, as well as The Atlanta Business Journal and The New York Times.
