Honoring Women's History Month

25 Feb 2015

“We have fought for everybody else’s equal rights - it’s our time to have wage equality once and for all, and equal rights for women in the United States of America!” - Patricia Arquette, 2015 Oscar Speech

March is Women's History Month, a time to reflect on the struggles women have faced throughout history and – more importantly – to celebrate their triumphs and successes. Since our early days, we have helped some of the pioneering voices in female equality get their messages out and truly pave the way for change and progress. Influential leaders such as Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi, Norway’s first female Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland, and 15th US Surgeon General M. Joycelyn Elders have dedicated their lives to defending the ideals of women’s rights and we are proud to have helped provide the platform.

Today, APB continues to represent a number of speakers on women's issues, from award-winning actresses and activists to journalists, best-selling authors, and innovative global leaders. Below, we have highlighted some of our most talked-about and requested female voices. Responsible for inspiring millions, these women have been voices of empowerment on the screen, in print, and in front of live audiences worldwide:
