05 Dec 2018
APB speaker Tina Brown, founder of Women in the World, has launched her new podcast “TBD with Tina Brown,” a platform where she has candid conversations with writers, actors, politicians, journalists, activists, thought leaders and newsmakers on tomorrow's social debates. Each show starts with a peek inside her diary and closes with her recommendation for what to read and what to watch to keep you current in these fast-moving times.
The podcast's first episode features Jill Soloway, the creator of Amazon's Transparent, a series based on the true events of Soloway’s father transitioning and the awareness it created in Soloway’s life. The conversation goes in-depth about the struggles that Soloway has faced through her non-binary discoveries.
Celebrated in the magazine and media world as an award-winning journalist, editor, author and entrepreneur, Tina Brown is currently CEO of Live Media and the visionary force behind the Women in the World global platform. Prior to this role, Brown was best known as the editor-in-chief that successfully reinvented and reinvigorated Vanity Fair and The New Yorker during a time of dramatic shifts in the magazine industry. She broke new ground in digital news media, founding The Daily Beast and is the author of The Diana Chronicles and The Vanity Fair Diaries: 1983 – 1992. Whether she’s sharing stories of triumphant turnarounds, speaking about the challenges of women leaders or advocating to improve the lives of women and girls, Tina Brown inspires audiences to be passionate about making a change in our world today.
