Biography
Bruce Bochy is the manager of the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers, who won the title in his first year as manager.
Prior to the Rangers job, he led the San Francisco Giants from 2007-2019, including THREE World Series titles between 2010 and 2014. He also managed the Padres for 12 years from 1995 to 2006, also leading them to the World Series.
He is one of only three managers to win a World Series in both leagues, alongside Sparky Anderson and Tony LaRussa.
During his 9-year PLAYING career, Bochy was a catcher for the Astros, Mets and Padres.
