Dr. Mary Hemphill is a human-centered leadership strategist who equips executives, educators, and industry leaders with the tools to navigate complexity, drive innovation, and lead with authenticity. With over 20 years of experience spanning education, corporate leadership, and entrepreneurship, she specializes in actionable leadership strategies that create lasting impact.
As the CEO and Founder of The Limitless Leader LLC, Dr. Hemphill empowers individuals and organizations to identify, ignite, and illuminate their leadership potential through high-impact coaching, consulting, and executive workshops. She has worked with thousands of professionals, guiding them in designing human-centered strategies that enhance culture, performance, and transformation.
Dr. Hemphill's leadership journey includes serving as North Carolina's first State Director of Computer Science and Technology Education, Chief Academic Officer, and an adjunct professor of Leadership Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill. She has driven large-scale strategic initiatives, digital transformation, and leadership development at the state and national levels. During her tenure, she launched groundbreaking initiatives such as #IAmCS to spotlight women in STEM and champion equitable access to computer science education across North Carolina.
Her thought leadership is widely recognized. She was named one of District Administration's Top 100 Education Influencers and is featured on EdTech Digest's Top 100 Influencers for 2023-24.
