Philanthropist and CEO Kendra Scott who has personally lost a friend to breast cancer, speaks on the importance of finding a cure. "I have 1,200 women that work in my organization and we know that breast cancer can hit anytime. My goal is that we find a cure for this disease. I don't want to see any more people like Holly or other beautiful women or men have their lives taken from this disease," Scott says.
Kendra engages her audience with her own personal story of success. Kendra shares her experiences of how to let go of the "what ifs" and how, with laughter as your companion, you can persevere through life's road blocks to achieve your dreams.
As a diamond has 4 c's of quality, Kendra has created 4 c's to finding your inner gem. Kendra shows you how a clear vision, inner strength and an "all or nothing" attitude can lead you to being the radiant and successful person you have always desired.
When Kendra Scott started her jewelry business out of her own bedroom with just $500, her husband had recently lost his job. To most people, that would hardly be the right time to take a risk to pursue a dream. But Kendra Scott had taken that risk before. At the age of 19, she started a business making headwear for chemotherapy patients. She eventually closed her hat store, but the lessons she learned from her past successes--and mistakes--spurred her on to follow her love of design.
