Prior to joining Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, Kristen was Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office where she served the community as Prosecutor in the Trials Division. Leading the Domestic Violence Unit and Elder Abuse Unit as Captain, as well as an assigned prosecutor within the Sex Crimes Unit, Mrs. Feden investigated and prosecuted cases of child and elder abuse and neglect, rape, sexual violence, internet crimes against children, and financial exploitation against elders. Over the course of her tenure in the District Attorney’s Office, Mrs. Feden has prosecuted all types of criminal cases, ranging in seriousness, including homicides, rapes, aggravated assaults, burglaries, elder financial exploitation crimes, cases of child pornography, and more. Some notable cases include: Commonwealth v. Rahaat, Commonwealth v. Meridith, Commonwealth v. Perkins, Commonwealth v. Tucker, Commonwealth v. Rosario, and most recently, the trial and re-trial of Commonwealth v. Cosby. Mrs. Feden began her legal career as the Law Clerk for the Honorable Garrett D. Page.
Recently, in May of 2018, Mrs. Feden was named The American Lawyer’s Litigator of the Week, and one of the 2018 Lawyers on the Fast Track. About a year prior, in May of 2017, Mrs. Feden earned a Commendation from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office for her prosecutorial work. In the same month, Mrs. Feden earned a Unit Commendation from the Montgomery Township Police Department, and similarly, in January of 2015, she earned a Unit Commendation from the Upper Merion Police Department. In April of 2016, Mrs. Feden was named one of the Top 40 individuals under the age of 40 by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
In addition to working full time as a litigator and passionately advocating victims of all ages, Mrs. Feden is the proud mother of two boys – Nicholas David Feden Jr., age 6, and Ethan Wayne Feden, age 4, - and delighted wife of Nicholas Feden, Sr.
Mrs. Feden earned her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in the Spring of 2009 and her Bachelors in Science Degree in Neuroscience at Lafayette College in 2004. During law school, Mrs. Feden received numerous awards, including a Commendation Award from the Rubin Public Interest Honor Society, noting her volunteerism during law school. She also obtained the “Best Oral Advocate” Award, the “Outstanding Oral Advocate” Awards several times, the Barristers’ Award, and “Distinguished Class Performance” Awards several times. Upon graduation Mrs. Feden received the Andrew Gay Award, for excellence in Trial Advocacy in the area of Criminal Law, and the Jacquelyn E. Davis Success Award for her efforts and commitment towards public service. Prior to law school, Mrs. Feden worked as a Financial Analyst for Bloomberg, L.P. in New York.
Mrs. Feden continues to volunteer and serve as a member on numerous task forces and Boards. Additionally, Mrs. Feden volunteers her services within her church, and within the community. Read Less ^
