Sean Astin discusses the importance of being the change we want to see in the world, and offers insight into his personal experiences with political involvement. Astin, for instance, spreads his message through his online political interview show, Vox Populi, but there are countless outlets for people to use to voice their political views and facilitate reform in the areas they see necessary.
Staying healthy through proper nutrition and exercise is crucial for children. Astin, an avid marathon runner, discusses the ways which children’s health and wellness allows them to grow and succeed.
"Please thank Sean for coming to Flint and spending the day with us yesterday. The student meet/greet was wonderful. The students loved meeting Sean and hearing all his stories and insights. The evening event was very well attended. The audience really appreciated Sean sharing his mother's story and message about mental health awareness. It must have been very difficult for him, especially so close to his mother's death. Sean made a few special connections with certain staff and faculty. Thank you for your help with this process—the end result was great!"
"EXCELLENT! We had an over capacity turnout—over 900 people showed up for his talk. He was funny and interesting. He was a super nice guy and stuck around for almost two full hours afterwards to take photos with everyone! A great success and a terrific way to end the semester."
"Sean was AMAZING!!!! He is so accommodating and was such a bit hit with our audience! I have nothing but rave reviews. He was kind, personable, accommodating, heart-warming, dynamic, and generally one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve had the pleasure to meet. We would have him back in a heartbeat! Thank you for the recommendation. He was fabulous and added just the right heart to the conference!"
