APB's Geoffrey Canada Appears on Popular Netflix Show "Luke Cage"

Education advocate and APB speaker Geoffrey Canada appeared on Luke Cage, Netflix's new hit show about the evolution of a man with super strength and unbreakable skin as he fights to protect his city of Harlem, New York.
In Season 1, main character Mariah Dillard references Geoffrey Canada’s successful work with the Harlem Children’s Zone. Canada then makes his cameo in Season 2 as Mariah Dillard’s ally when she announces the construction of the Shirley Chisholm Complexes to the public.
Canada’s mission to help his community through education played a large role in stopping generational poverty. In his 20-plus years with Harlem Children’s Zone, Inc., he has become nationally recognized for his pioneering work with children and families as a passionate advocate for education reform.
