APB Speaker Patrick "Blake" Leeper Fights to Make History & For a Spot at the 2020 Olympics

Paralympic medalist and APB speaker Patrick "Blake" Leeper finished fifth in the 400 meter race at the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships this past Saturday, which would qualify him for the world championships team. Born without legs from a congenital birth defect, Leeper has never been one for excuses. He has defied the odds and won countless titles as a Paralympic runner.
With the 2020 Olympics a year away, Leeper’s ability to overcome great obstacles will be tested once again. His grit, determination and natural athleticism ranks him alongside the world’s best athletes, such as fellow speakers Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson, Kayla Harrison, Greg Louganis, Mia Hamm, Scott Hamilton and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to name a few.
