Gary Myers’ Brady vs. Manning Documentary Is in the Works

Gary Myers’ New York Times bestselling book Brady vs. Manning is the basis for a feature documentary now in the works. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Winter State Entertainment is behind the project, which will draw from Myers’ book about the unforgettable rivalry between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

No distribution has been announced yet, and additional casting and distribution announcements are to be determined at a later date. The film is expected to revisit one of football’s most closely watched quarterback matchups, examining the competition between Brady and Manning along with the discipline, preparation, and respect that shaped their careers. Across 17 meetings, the two quarterbacks repeatedly found themselves standing between each other and the game’s biggest stage.

For Myers, the project builds on decades of reporting and storytelling. An award-winning sportswriter and longtime NFL journalist, he covered the league for years while developing a deep understanding of the players, coaches, rivalries, and leadership dynamics that shape professional football.

His work captures why the Brady-Manning rivalry continues to resonate. Their matchups were never only about who won on a given Sunday. They reflected two different approaches to greatness, two extraordinary careers unfolding side by side, and the pressure that comes when every meeting carries the weight of legacy.

As a speaker, Myers brings audiences inside the stories behind the game, offering insight into leadership, legacy, teamwork, sports culture, and the personalities who have shaped football’s most memorable moments. With Brady vs. Manning moving toward a new screen adaptation, his work continues to reach new audiences and highlight the human stories behind professional sports.
