No Scotland, No Party: Meet the Maclean Brothers
23 Jun 2026
With Scotland’s Tartan Army turning “No Scotland, No Party” into one of the most joyful rallying cries of the World Cup, the timing feels right to introduce three Scottish brothers whose own story is built on adventure, endurance, teamwork, and purpose.
Ewan, Jamie, and Lachlan Maclean are Scottish adventurers and record-breaking ocean rowers who have taken on some of the world’s most demanding crossings. In 2019, they rowed more than 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, completing the journey from the Canary Islands to Antigua in 35 days and breaking the previous speed record by nearly six days.
Their next challenge was even bigger: a 9,750-mile row across the Pacific Ocean from Lima, Peru, to Cairns, Australia. Over 139 days, the brothers faced tropical storms, seasickness, limited supplies, and a man-overboard incident, completing the crossing unsupported and non-stop while raising more than £1 million for clean water projects in Madagascar.
Now new exclusive additions to the APB roster, the Maclean Brothers bring audiences a powerful story about what it takes to keep going when conditions change, morale dips, and turning back is not an option. Their message connects to teamwork, resilience, mindset, and the importance of anchoring ambitious goals to something larger than yourself.
At a moment when Scottish spirit is capturing attention around the world, the Maclean Brothers offer a different kind of rallying cry: ordinary people are capable of extraordinary things, especially when they work together and move with purpose.
