International Press Freedom Awards 2007
"Dmitry Muratov engaged with the Boston College community by giving a fascinating but also a heartbreaking account of the horrific state of Russia and Ukraine. While the details are grim, one is left with a glimmer of hope knowing the fierce drive and determination of the Russian and Ukrainian youth can and will lead to change. Dmitry left our students inspired by his courage and with the knowledge that even within their communities, they have the power to inspire change. Over two hundred people attended this event, and I am grateful to APB Speakers for being an incredible partner in ensuring we have such a terrific event."
