APB's Ralph Nader on Corporate Speech

In a recent op-ed for The New York Times, APB speaker Ralph Nader criticized David Cole and the ACLU's "aggressive support of corporate free speech.” As an advocate for raising awareness about the harms of smoking, Nader questioned the groups support of tobacco companies continuing to advertise under the guise of corporate free speech.

Nader claims that the ACLU fighting for corporate personhood and corporate free speech under the first amendment is wrong because, as stated in the name, a corporation is not a person.
