Man vs. Machine: APB Speakers Ken Jennings & Garry Kasparov Compete Against AI

APB speakers Ken Jennings, the all-time Jeopardy! champion, and Garry Kasparov, one of the greatest chess players of all time, both have faced head-to-head against artificial intelligence machines. Featured in Forbes, the two challenges are considered to be some of the greatest the world has seen. 

In 2011, Jennings competed in Jeopardy! against IBM’s Watson, a room-sized computer that prepared for the match by playing over 100 former winners. Watson emerged victorious over Jennings, the Jeopardy! champion. Kasparov has played two chess matches against IBM’s Deep Blue, first in 1996 ending in a Kasparov victory and then again in 1997 with Deep Blue winning the match.
