APB’s Kayla Harrison Wins Big at the 2019 PFL Championship
08 Jan 2020
Two-time Olympic gold medalist, world champion many times over and APB speaker Kayla Harrison closed out 2019 with a bang! She clinched a major victory over challenger Larissa Pacheco in the Professional Fighters League women’s lightweight championship.
The PFL championship was the culmination of an intense season, taking place on New Year’s Eve in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. Harrison was the last to fight on the epic night, making her one of six fighters to win their category, walk away with $1 million and a pro MMA title. Harrison dominated all three rounds against Pacheco, which feels like an appropriate ending to a banner season for Harrison, during which she served as the face of the Professional Fighters League.
A leading speaker on motivation and leadership, Harrison has captivated audiences everywhere and has been featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, USA Today, Time, and on The Today Show, CNN and MSNBC, among other media.
