Living Room Graduation with APB Speaker Brad Meltzer

Called "America’s Historian" and recognized as one of "Hollywood’s 25 Most Powerful Authors," Brad Meltzer recently gave his son a graduation like no other—a personalized one from the comfort of their own living room. In his speech, he said: “This cap is from my high school graduation. When I wore it, I was 18 and I thought I was invincible. When I wore it, I was dating the most beautiful girl in school, my high school sweetheart, now she’s your mom.” Watch the full speech here.
Meltzer draws on the themes of his best-selling books and popular television shows, challenging audiences to look at their lives and work to develop a mission through the lens of legacy. His highly inspiring keynotes showcase the motivational stories of both everyday heroes and history-making leaders. He wanted to remind his son that even during a pandemic, being safe and healthy, as well as living life to the fullest, is what’s most important. As Meltzer’s friend Tom said, “To live is to survive and to survive is to live.”
