After the recent mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, speakers and co-founders of March For Our Lives organization, David Hogg and Jaclyn Corin, who are both attending Harvard University this Fall, announced a new initiative for March For Our Lives. Called the “Peace Plan for a Safer America,” the effort maps out a six-part plan to end gun violence. In USA TODAY, Corin said it’s “’A Green New Deal, but for guns.’” Hogg said, “’Policymakers have failed, so survivors are stepping up.’”

Social activist and contributing editor to Vanity Fair Monica Lewinsky will be producing FX’s latest installment of Impeachment: American Crime Story, which will focus on President Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial. About her involvement with the production, Lewinsky said, “I am privileged to have this opportunity,” and that after 20 years, she is finally able to tell her part of the story. She hopes that her experience will highlight the narrative of powerful people taking advantage of those subordinate to them. Impeachment: American Crime Story premieres on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
